The hotel is situated in a 20,000 square meter park, abundant with magnolia, cypress, olive and palm trees, and is also home to the famous literary terrace, a meeting point for many great personalities. Grand hotel timeo is a short walk from all of the sights for which taormina is famous. A shuttle bus provides guests with access to a private beach a short drive from the hotel. Grand hotel timeo is located 60 kilometers north of catania fontanarossa airport, about 50 minutes by car. Facilities at grand hotel timeo include two fine dining restaurants, a full service spa, exercise room, four meeting rooms, outdoor swimming pool, library, piano bar, 24-hour business services and an incomparable terrace with stunning views of mount etna, the sea and extensive parkland. Lawrence, christian dior, guglielmo marconi and kaiser wilhelm ii. Accommodations at grand hotel timeo include 42 rooms and 28 suites, each impeccably appointed. Some rooms are located in the main building while others are located 50 meters away in the villa flora annex. All rooms feature both network and wireless high-speed internet access as well as all of the amenities you would expect in one of italy's grand hotels. Most rooms have a private terrace or balcony, many of them offering spectacular sea views. All guestrooms underwent a complete renovation in 2010.
