The Connaught in Mayfair has recently been the subject of a £70 million pound restoration/ thus ensuring its place as one of the worlds foremost hotels for the remainder of the 21st century/ whilst preserving the authentic elegance so beloved of its guests. Rooms and suites are entered from wide/ galleried corridors/ with 19th century Venetian carpeting/ encircling the original grand mahogany staircase, with panelled landings/ original antique furniture/ long case clocks/ original paintings and light fittings/ repolished and regilded.
